PeerJ Articles Now Appearing in PubMed and PubMed Central

by | May 7, 2013 | regular

We are pleased to announce that PeerJ articles are now appearing in both PubMed and PubMed Central (the free ‘full text’ archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature from the U.S. National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) National Library of Medicine (NLM)). As a result, PeerJ articles will now start receiving PMID’s and PMCID’s.

This follows our previous announcement that PeerJ had been accepted for indexing into PubMed Central and PubMed.

Additionally, PeerJ articles are also indexed in Scopus and Google Scholar, and are under evaluation at the Web of Science (which has a longer evaluation time).

[Updates: We are also indexed at: PMC Europe, EMBASE,  CAB Abstracts, the ACS Databases, the DOAJ, AGORA, ARDI, HINARI, and OARE]

Update 10/27/2014: PeerJ is also now indexed by Web of Science (WoS), Biological Abstracts and BIOSIS Previews. The journal will receive a JCR 2014 Impact Factor in June 2015.
